8 – 10 year old girls and boys (school years 4 – 6)

Cubs meet on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Scout Hall

The focus for our Cubs on their Scouting journey is on extra outdoor activity and additional achievement of badges through the award scheme.

Cubs is a great place to make new friends while being part of a team. Cubs are split into groups of six that each have a Leader and Assistant Leader. This provides opportunities for this age group to start to learn the basics of leadership while participating in fun activities.

Cubs enjoy lots of great activities including camping and overnight stays at locations around Wellington. Cubs enjoy building, decorating and racing Pinewood Derby cars, usually with our other Sections. They also visit local community services such as fire stations and the marine education centre.

Join Cubs and have lots of fun, enjoy new experiences, make new friends, experiment, challenge yourself, and experience the life of being a Cub.

Keen to join? Come along for a few nights and see if you enjoy it before deciding to join. The first month is free!

More about our fees can be found on our fees page.
