8–10 year olds, girls and boys
Cubs meet on Tuesdays at 6:30pm to 8.00pm at the Scout Hall
Cubs are the next stage in Scouts life where more outdoor activity and achievement of badges through the award scheme is focused on.
Cubs is a great place to make some new friends while being part of a team. Cubs are split into “sixes” that each have a leader and assistant leader. This provides opportunities for this age group to start to learn the basics of leadership while participating in fun activities.
Cubs have lots of great activities like camping ,overnight stays at the scout hall, building pine wood derby cars, visits to fire stations – to name but a few of what is in store for a Cub.
Join Cubs and have lots of fun, explore new things, make new friends, experiment, accept challenges, and experience the life of being a Cub. Cubs make a promise; this is used as a guideline for meetings and activities.
